Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant has an Easter egg called Super Alexa Mode. Learn how to use it, as well as the history of the command.
Both Amazon products that support the Alexa voice assistant, including Amazon Fire tablets and the Amazon Echo, are covered by the instructions in this post.
What Is Super Alexa Mode?
Amazon’s engineers coded Super Alexa Mode into Alexa as one of several jokes. It’s based on the Konami code, a well-known cheat code created by Konami, a Japanese video game developer and publisher. Coding can be used in a variety of games, including the Contra and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchises.
Since everybody enjoys asking voice assistants amusing questions to see if they react, it was only a matter of time before gamers tried the Konami code on Alexa. Amazon foresaw those questions and prepared clever answers to make customers chuckle. The Konami code is a well-known cheat code used in a variety of video games. Originally designed for Nintendo games, entering this code will make the game simpler for the players, either by unlocking power-ups or making the levels easier.
This hack has been introduced in a variety of games, making it a common Easter egg among gamers.
This code unlocks Super Alexa Mode on your Echo device. Unfortunately, unlocking this does little to improve the performance of your computer.
What Is the Super Alexa Mode Code?
Most personal assistant systems have humorous Easter eggs embedded in them, which means that if you say a specific phrase to the computer, it will activate a game, a funny automatic voice response, or something else. Since these Easter eggs vary from one smart home assistant to the other, no two will have the same secret features.
To turn on Super Mode, simply say “Alexa, up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start.”
When “The Super Alexa mode” is activated, Alexa will respond. Starting reactors online. Enabling advanced systems, online. Raising dongers is a difficult task. There was an error. Dongers have gone missing. Taking a break. “
The command applies to the buttons on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) controller that must be pushed in order to activate the code in various video games. Alexa’s answer has nothing to do with any specific game or meme; it’s just a ruse to fool players into thinking they’ve found something unique. Unfortunately, Alexa does not gain any new powers as a result of Super Alexa Mode.

What is the purpose of Super Alexa Mode?
Super Alexa Mode has no reason other than to make gamers laugh. There’s no need to “deactivate“ because it doesn’t affect your system.
The Konami Code’s History
Kazuhisa Hashimoto, the head developer of Gradius for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1986, is credited with inventing the Konami code. Hashimoto developed a code for his team to use during the testing process that enabled players to start the game with complete upgrades. Without having to think about monsters or challenges, the coding made it easy to evaluate all facets of the game.
Hashimoto says he failed to delete the code and never planned for it to be used by gamers. Konami got a lot of positive reviews from players after the code was found by the general public. The Konami code, which predated difficulty settings, enabled gamers to play Gradius at a slower speed. Gradius became more available to less experienced gamers as a result, broadening Konami’s potential market.
As a result, the code became a standard in Konami NES games, most notably the Contra series. Contra’s original arcade version was known for its steep difficulty curve, but when it was released on the NES in 1988, players were keen to use the Konami code on it. At the start of the game, those who entered the code were given 30 extra lives.
