If you’re a Boost Mobile customer, you’ll need to configure your phone’s APN settings in order to use data services. Access Point Name (APN) configurations are necessary for broadband service providers such as Boost Mobile.
It also includes the security settings necessary for users to successfully connect to the internet via 4G and 5G connections and the Boost Mobile data plan.
In this post, we’ll show you how to set up your Boost Mobile APN settings for both Android and iOS devices.

Boost Mobile APN Settings for Android
On your Android, go to Settings, Connections, Mobile networks, and Access Point Names.
In the right upper corner, press the Add button. If Android has already set Internet/MMS 2 settings for any of the fields below, leave them alone. Change the remaining fields as shown below.
- Name: Internet/MMS 2
- APN: Boost_Mobile
- Proxy:
- Port:
- Username:
- Password:
- Server:
- MMSC: http://mm.myboostmobile.com
- Multimedia message proxy: 68.28.31.7
- MNC:
- Authentication type:
- APN type: default, admin,fota,MMS,supl,hipri
- APN protocol: IPv4/IPv6
- APN roaming protocol: IPv4
- Bearer: Unspecified
- Multimedia message port: 80
- MCC: 310
Restart your Android device to apply the new Internet/MMS 2 APN settings.

Boost Mobile MMS Settings for iPhone
To begin, enable MMS on your iPhone by going to Settings > Messages > MMS Messaging and then enable MMS.
Navigate to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Network, then enter the following settings in the MMS area.
- APN: boost.data
- Username: (leave this blank)
- Password: (leave this blank)
- MMSC: http://sprboost.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc
- MMS Proxy: 68.28.31.7
- MMS Port: 80
- MMS Max Message Size: 1048576
- MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf
Save the settings then set Boost Mobile APN internet settings on your iPhone.
Boost Mobile APN Settings for Windows
Navigate to the App list and tap Settings Network & Wireless Cellular & SIM.
In Cellular, select your SIM card
Select Properties
Under Internet APN select Add an Internet APN
- Profile name: Internet/MMS 2
- APN: Boost_Mobile
- User name:
- Password:
- Type of sign-in info:
- IP type: IPv4
Enable Use this APN for LTE and replace the one from my mobile operator
- Proxy server (URL):
- Proxy port:
Tap Save
In Cellular, select your SIM card
Select Properties
Under MMS APN select Add an MMS APN
- Profile name: Internet/MMS 2
- APN: Boost_Mobile
- User name:
- Password:
- Type of sign-in info:
- IP Type: IPv4
- Proxy server: 68.28.31.7
- Proxy port: 80
- MMSC (URL): http://mm.myboostmobile.com
- MMSC port:
- Maximum MMS size (KB): 2048
Tap Save.

Boost Mobile APN Settings for BlackBerry
Swipe down from the top of the home screen.
- Tap Settings, and then tap Network Connections.
- Tap Mobile Network.
- Tap APN at the bottom of the screen.
Enter the following details:
- Access Point Name (APN) = Boost_Mobile
- Username =
- Password =
To access the main menu, swipe your finger left on the display.
- Open Text Messages.
- Press the dots.
- Press Settings and select Text Messages.
- Select MMS.
Press Advanced, then type the information below.
- APN = Boost_Mobile
- MMSC URL = http://mm.myboostmobile.com
- Proxy URL = 68.28.31.7:80
Press Save and return to the home screen.
